How Pitchlight works

Pitchlight is an AI coach for sales and client calls. It prepares you before, helps you live with private tips, and reviews the call afterwards. Use Chrome, allow the microphone when asked, and wear headphones for real meetings.

The order that works

  1. Home → Try the practice meeting. A built-in client, Priya, asks 11 questions out loud. Follow the guide on the page: it shows what to say and ticks each feature when it appears. About 12 minutes.
  2. Library → Prepare me. Paste a product page or your notes, or write your own script. You get a script, hard questions with answers, objection replies and a cheat sheet. Add your own documents (pricing, FAQs, decks) so answers use your facts.
  3. Meeting → Start a meeting. Pick who it is with and your script, share the meeting tab's audio, and start. Drag the notch next to your camera.
  4. After the call. Read the recap, send the follow-up email, check the readiness card and the question-by-question review.

During a meeting

Your script

The Script tab highlights your next line as you speak. Click any line to jump there. If you lose your place, press I'm lost: it shows the last line you said and what comes next. While you answer a client question the script holds still.

Client questions

When the client asks something, the Answers panel shows Say this: the exact words to read, with a short outline under it and the document it came from. Your prepared answers are used word for word. If nothing covers it, you are told it is not in your notes.

Objections and nudges

Pushback on price, a competitor, timing or approval shows your prepared answer first, then three ways to respond. Silent nudges flag filler words, pace, talking too long and missed questions. Only you see them.

Points and commitments

Points to cover tick off as you mention them. Promises like "I'll send it Friday" are tracked, and the coach reminds you to agree a next step.

Company hub

Admins add each business with a short summary and its decks. If a client asks about something your own notes don't cover, the coach answers from the hub and names the document. Everyone can read the hub; only admins change it. Choose which business a call is about in the meeting's More options.

Practice alone

The Practice page coaches a talk with camera and microphone, with optional AI role-play as an investor, interviewer or client, then gives a scored review with transcript, stronger versions of your lines and video replay (kept on your computer).

Good to know: text appears a second or two after you pause, so speak with natural pauses. Sessions under about 25 spoken words are not scored. If you share your screen in a call, share only the meeting tab so the notch stays private.
